Lapad Peninsula is home to some of Dubrovnik’s best beaches. During summer months, the area boasts of gorgeous blue skies and Croatia’s famous blue waters. Uvala Lapad is the first beach on the stretch and offers plenty of dining and recreational opportunities. It’s perfect for large groups, so make sure you visit Uvala Lapad if you are travelling with your friends. Here you can sit under swaying palm trees in a restaurant of your choice, sip on cocktails and watch life go by. Alternatively you can rent a sunbed or go for a dip in warm waters. A word of caution—Uvala Lapad Beach can get quite crowded during summer months, so arrive early and bag a spot for yourself before tourist hordes get there. Uvala Lapad is perfect if you like your beaches to have a host of amenities and activities, enough to while away the entire day at the beach itself.
