For the first time ever in its history, China, one of the largest nations in the world, has planned to build the underwater tunnel for high-speed trains. The tunnel will connect two cities located in the eastern province of Zhejiang. As per the media reports, the upcoming undersea tunnel will reduce the travel time from 90 to 30 minutes.
The high-speed rail lines in China cover 25,000 km of the area which is more than sixty per cent of the world’s total.
