This Hindu temple sits on the shore of Lake Bratan and is one of the most revered places for the locals. It is regarded as the most important and core to all the water temples in Bali and is dedicated to the Goddess of waters, rivers and lakes, Danu. The temples looks like this and even more surreal on clear days.
Holy waters of Tirta Empul Temple
Another Balinese Hindu water temple, Tirta Empul is famous for its elaborate rituals. It is dedicated to the Hindu God of water, Vishnu. It is famous for its holy spring water, used for purification rituals. It also makes for a very surreal sight.
