Nubra Valley

If jaw-dropping scenery is what you wish for in your Ladakh trip, there is no skipping Nubra Valley. A place of scant vegetation, surreal surroundings and folks with the warmest of smiles you would have ever seen. It also makes for a perfect night stop after a visit to Khardung La pass in the morning. Once in Nubra, you must visit the Diskit Monastery, Hunder sand dunes, Samstanling Monastery, the hot water springs at Panamik and Turtuk village (if offbeat is your calling). Tank up your vehicle before leaving for Nubra for the petrol pump here is mostly defunct.
