A major fire broke out at the Notre Dame Cathedral, one of the most iconic landmarks in central Paris. The havoc started on Monday afternoon, ripping the 850-year-old structure of its glory. The fire damaged much, causing the spire of the cathedral to collapse; however, firefighters managed to preserve the main structure. This break out has been linked to a renovation project on the church’s squire. Read less
