A lovely small beach between Cala Sinzias and Costa Rei, Monte Turnu is perfect when the strong mistral wind blows, at it is nicely tucked in a hill, and thus a bit more protected. The sand is white, and as fine as talcum powder. The shallow water is a beautiful emerald green and incredibly transparent. It is possible to climb the rocks to get a beautiful view from above. There is a rather popular kiosk on the beach that rents sun beds and umbrellas, and also serves light meals, snack and drinks and is quite popular among the locals during aperitif time, with lounge music in the background. It can get quite crowded during the peak season.
