This green patch is over a kilometre in length and 0.7 km in width. The reflection of surrounding meadows on the crystal clear water of this oligotrophic lake further enhances its beauty. The lake gets its name from Sheshnag—the lord of snakes. As per legend, the lord himself dug this lake.
