Karnataka to get another river park soon

Karnataka’s Dandeli will soon get a river park, and the Forest Department has confirmed about this development. The Moulangi Eco Park, which is situated at around 6 km from Dandeli, registers a huge number of tourists every year from the neighbouring districts. Now, with this river park coming up in Dandeli, it is expected that tourists will now get more for less.
Moulangi Eco Park is one-of-its-kind as it ensures quality tourism for visitors. Dandeli will now become a major spot offering quality tourism to tourists. For this purpose, the Forest Department has already started working along the Kali river.
Referring to this development, an official in the know-how said that there is a great demand for picnic spots along the river. Many tourists who visit Ulavi temple often visit Kali river in Dandeli to take a bath. This was how the plan of the river park was generated; the forest staff will be alerting the visitors at the time of water release from the dam.
The official also stated that, as of now, water sports will not be available, but there are plans to create a swimming area, where tourists can enjoy without facing any danger. The flow of the river is impressive here and a bridge over it makes a very good spot to spend some relaxing time.
While work is in progress to build the river park, the region still has vast potential and scores of people visit it to feel close to nature.
