A much unknown destination, virginal and untouched, Jawhar is situated in the Western Ghats, and was once a princely state. Jawhar’s most important destination is the Jai Vilas Palace; a neoclassical style palace was built by Raja Yashwant Rao Mukane. The palace is popularly known as Raj Bari, and is built atop a hill. You can also head to the Sunset point, from where you can get stunning views of the Jawhar landscape. Dabosha Waterfall and Kal Mandavi Waterfall are two of the most important waterfalls here, so you could head to these locations as well.
