Hanuman Garhi: Hanuman Garhi is one of the prime attractions in Ayodhya set on top of a hill. The temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman and is noted for its unique architecture. To reach the temple, devotees need to climb a series of steep steps leading to the main shrine. It is said that Lord Hanuman resides here and offers protection to the devotees. The temple complex also houses various smaller shrines.
Nageshwarnath Temple: Located near the Hanuman Garhi temple, Nageshwarnath Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. This ancient temple is believed to have been established by Kush, the son of Lord Rama. The temple complex also includes a sacred pond called Surya Kund, which is said to have healing properties.
Treta Ke Thakur: Treta Ke Thakur is set on the banks of the Sarayu River. The temple is one of the oldest in Ayodhya and is dedicated to Rama. It is believed to have been constructed at the spot where Lord Rama performed the Ashwamedha Yagna after returning victorious from Lanka.
Mani Parbat and Sugriv Parbat: These twin hillocks are located near the Ram Janmabhoomi complex and are associated with the Ramayana. Mani Parbat is believed to be the spot where Hanuman met Lord Rama for the first time, while Sugriv Parbat is associated with Sugriva, the king of the Vanaras. Both hills are dotted with several small temples and offer panoramic views of the city of Ayodhya.
