Full of ups and downs, Lisbon’s history is fascinating and the best way of getting a good understanding of it is by visiting the Lisbon Story Centre. Housed in one of the pasted coloured renovated buildings skirting Praca do Comercio, this institution opened in 2012 narrates the story of the Portuguese capital by presenting facts, figures and scenarios that recreate the milestone happenings of the city using special effects and state of the art technology. Housed in one of the pasted coloured renovated buildings skirting Praca do Comercio, this institution opened in 2012 narrates the story of the Portuguese capital by presenting facts, figures and scenarios that recreate the milestone happenings of the city using special effects and state of the art technology. The exhibition is spread across six designated areas each featuring significant city-event stories arranged in chronological order from early civilisation to current period. Most visitors find the earthquake incident very captivating.
