Best Goa experiences for the Carnival long weekend

Goa enjoys perfect weather in February. With humidity still manageable and the heat rising but is pretty doable, it’s a great time to be out and about in Goa in February. This coming weekend, there is the famous and much-awaited Goa Carnival. Make Goa plans and while you are there, use this time to explore other cool attractions in Goa. Viva Carnaval! Goa will host its annual Goa Carnival (February 18-21) in four major locations – Panjim, Mapusa, Margao and Vasco. Goa Carnival is known to be one of the most fun events in Goa.

With the temperature rising steadily, you will soon want to take a cool dip. Head to the Grande Island for some snorkelling session. The visibility is great here.

If the carnival gets too overwhelming, head to the quieter (and cleaner) beaches of South Goa. Beaches like Varca, Cavelossim, Colva and Mobor are pretty quiet and clean.
