Party in the lap of luxury

Word to the wise: In typical rockstar style, the party generally doesn't get started here until 12midnight at the very least.

The baby of Bollywood heartthrob Arjun Rampal, Lap is an exclusive - and somewhat dramatic - lounge bar/club. Situated in Hotel Samrat, it covers a whopping 17,000 square feet, has six resident DJs, ultra-luxe interiors - including Swarovski chandeliers - and a baroque fountain as a centrepiece, all of which goes towards making Lap Delhi's most fabulous after dark hangout.

There's a funky pop-up restaurant and bar in the garden open to everyone, but the club itself is a members-only affair. If you're keen to get past the velvet rope, step up your social game - members are allowed to bring six friends in with them.
