With its romantically-lit interior, soft jazz soundtrack and friendly staff, Aperitif has the laid-back atmosphere of a Tuscan trattoria.

The regularly-changing menu is mostly modern European - baked sole with chorizo, citrus sauce and fries, for example, or fillet steak with ribboned vegetables and roast potatoes – but there's a small selection of Polish dishes on offer too. For dessert, there are indulgent classics such as crème brûlée with blackcurrants or chocolate cheesecake.
