Nabobs

Nabobs serves British, North-Indian and Continental cuisine to food connoisseurs. The ambience is vivacious with brick walls and colourful photo gallery but it is the ‘Terrace’ which lures you back again and again. It is popular among the crowd for its Indo-European fusion food served in a Colonial set-up. The core theme of the restaurant is the British Nawab or the British who went back with a lot of Indian-ness and Nawabi attitude after the downfall of the British empire, and this is reflected in its decor as also in its dishes. The logo of the restaurant resembles that of a Nawab’s moustache and the decor is an interesting and eclectic mix.

The menu is packed with fusion dishes lending a twist to the otherwise regular dishes. Murg angare bedgi, paneer khurchan, gosht bhalla and naan pizza are among the favourites with diners thronging to this Anglo-Indian eatery. The pan martini served in a charming old-fashioned milk bottle (oh! how I loved Noddy) is high on the quirk-o-meter while the spicy masala sangria is refreshing and packed with flavours. This place has something for the entire family.
