Known for its interesting medley of healthy vegetarian fare, Purple Pipal serves dishes like RMB20-70, Taiwan-style stewed chicken with three cups sauce, pineapple shrimps with deep-fried dough sticks, sweet and sour spareribs, mango pudding, purple sweet potato juice etc. Word has it that their meat-imitating dishes are cooked using soy protein. For the fusion cuisine, the raw material is procured from Hong Kong, which adds another feather to Purple Pipal’s hat. For light-eaters the menu has a slew of Chinese sweet soup, snacks, as well as tea.
