This is supposed to be an incredibly fun dive. The wreck of an American supply ship that was hit by a Japanese torpedo during World War II lays at the bottom of the sea, at a depth of between 3 and 29 m. Coral formation has coated the wreckage, which is home to an incredible variety of fish. This really is a diving wonderland. In order to get to the dive site, it is necessary to get to Tulamben, a small fishing village on the north coast of Bali. The wreck can actually be seen from the beach. It is better to go early to avoid crowds. Diving here is possible at any time of the year, with visibility of up to 20 m that inevitably decreases during the rainy season. The water is warm throughout the year. It is an all levels’ dive: the currents are not strong but there are some spots that can be exciting for experienced divers as well.
