If you are looking to splurge on an authentic Balinese feast, then look no further than the superb Warung restaurant at the Alila Uluwatu Resort. The cliff-side location and views overlooking the ocean are stunning, and make for the perfect setting for a romantic meal.

When dining at The Warung at Alila you can enjoy an innovative menu of Balinese delicacies, either a la carte or banquet style, and you can also try food from around the rest of Indonesia. Make sure to try the young jack fruit salad with pork, minced duck in banana leaf, and shredded chicken with chilli and lime. If you have trouble choosing, the staff can be very helpful and will explain everything, you could otherwise pick the special chef’s selection set menus. The special ‘Uluwatu’ set menu consists of 11 mini dishes so you sample a bit of everything.
