They are particularly in love with road trips and in the last year alone, they’ve driven over 20,000 miles in a dozen countries. They write about their experiences on www.bruisedpassports.com.
Most cafes in Dubrovnik are concentrated in the Old Town. However, these are popular only with tourists—you will not find many locals at any of those places. If you want to visit a café frequented and loved by locals, then step out of Dubrovnik’s Old Town to visit the eclectic Art Café. The interiors of the café pay homage to pop art in a variety of ways—glow-in-the-dark tables, neon lights, comic murals, and brightly coloured bar stools. The theme continues on the terraces where bathtubs are converted into couches. The café boasts of a fast Wi-Fi and a laidback vibe. There are a variety of drinks on the menu but we love their smoothies and cocktails. It’s hard to beat the psychedelic funky air of Art Café a must visit if you like hunting for quirky gems that are off the beaten path.
