An urban oasis of arts, shopping, and food
Word to the wise: To reach Granville Island, hop aboard a ferry with Aquabus or False Creek Ferries. You can also walk there via Granville Bridge.
The Public Market is one of the best and the largest in the country, with food stalls selling every goodie imaginable. Once you've been sated, quench your thirst at the nearby Granville Island Brewing, the oldest micro-brewery in Canada. Work off the calories with a stroll along the waterfront or simply relax on a yacht cruise. In the evening, you can dine in one of the lauded restaurants and afterward enjoy a theatrical or dance performance.
