If you prefer your pizza dripping with mozzarella and drizzled with ranch sauce, don't come here. Sticking to the age-old Mediterranean manta of freshness and simplicity and freshness, Campagnola Roma is possibly the most authentic Italian you'll find in Vancouver.

A small, wood-panelled affair opposite the Red Wagon Cafe on East Hastings, the walk-in restaurant offers a small menu of pizzas, pastas and antipasti. The pastas could be cheaper, but they're always packed with flavour. Wash down your meal with a chilled glass of prosecco, pint of Campagnolo ale or a glass of Sicilian red.
