Dr. Ashwin Shetty is a Consultant in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital, Mumbai, since its inception, and also serves as a Consultant at Calderdale Royal Hospital, West Yorkshire, UK.
He completed his M.D. in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in India and went on to clear key Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), London examinations, including MRCOG and CCST, which are essential for specialist practice in the UK. He completed his specialist training through the Yorkshire Deanery (UK National Training Programme) and was awarded the prestigious FRCOG in 2016.
His additional training includes the Advanced Training Skills Module (ATSM) in Advanced Labour Practice and Special Skills Training in Urogynaecology. He is also certified in Managing Obstetric Emergencies and Trauma (MOET) and holds the Bristol Certificate in Urodynamics from the Bristol Urological Institute.
Dr. Shetty has contributed to several peer-reviewed international journals, presented at multiple national and international conferences, and has been actively involved in clinical research projects in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology.
