Casio launches new ‘special-edition’ G-Shock watch inspired by this ‘famous’ Toyota SUV

Casio and Toyota have joined forces to launch the new G-Shock MUDMAN GW-9500TLC-1 special edition watch. Inspired by Toyota's legendary Land Cruiser off-road vehicles and G-Shock's iconic toughness, this new timepiece is designed to offer added durability even under extreme conditions.

The GW-9500TLC-1 represents the third evolution of Casio's MUDMAN series within the prestigious Master of G lineup, known for unparalleled durability. The watch features Carbon Core Guard structure that makes it resistant to dust, mud, and even harsh elements.

The watch, as mentioned, draws inspiration from Toyota's Land Cruiser racing team that competes in the gruelling Dakar Rally, the sand-coloured watch band sports a black splatter pattern evoking desert race tracks. The stainless steel bezel components are ion-plated in black for a bold, rugged look.

Key design details celebrate the Toyota Auto Body/G-Shock collaboration – the band and caseback feature the TLC team logo while blue, white and red accents match Toyota's colours.

This exclusive edition, adorned with the TLC team colours — blue, white, and red — enhances the design, with the team logo proudly displayed on the band and case back, celebrating the dynamic collaboration between Toyota Auto Body and G-SHOCK.

It features a streamlined and compact profile and a sophisticated duplex LCD, providing essential data at a glance for navigating the toughest challenges.
