Last year it was reported that the Chinese smartphone maker
OnePlus has discontinued production of smart TVs in India. Now the company has also stopped selling smart TVs and monitors in the country.
OnePlus has removed the TV and Display sections from its India website. The TV section on the OnePlus website has been removed completely. However, some of the OnePlus smart TVs are still available on the e-commerce website Amazon.in.
OnePlus entered the smart TV market in India in 2019. OnePlus TV Q1 was the first smart TV of the company. The company also stopped launching smart TVs in the country since last year.
Along with this, OnePlus may also exit the monitor market in the country. The Chinese smartphone maker has also removed the monitor listings from its website. The company also launched the two monitors in the country in December 2022. After that OnePlus did not launched any new monitor.
Nevertheless, it's essential to highlight that OnePlus has not issued an official statement regarding its departure from the TV and Display sector in India.
