Asus ROG Strix G16, TUF Gaming A15 gaming laptops launched: Specs, features and price in India

Asus has refreshed its Republic of Gamers (ROG) gaming laptop portfolio with ROG Strix G16, and ASUS TUF Gaming A15 getting next-gen hardware. The refreshed 2024 line-up offers tools to casual gamers, gaming enthusiasts and professional gamers to personalise their gaming experience.

The Asus ROG Strix G16 will be available at the starting price of Rs 1,99,990, and the TUF Gaming A15 at the starting price of Rs 1,24,990. Both the laptop models are available for purchase via online and offline channels.

The Asus Strix G16 is now equipped with the latest Intel i9 14th Gen 14900HX processor that features Intel’s new hybrid architecture with Performance and Efficiency Cores. Along with a powerful chip, the laptop comes with the Nvidia RTX 4070 GPU of laptop graphics. The Asus Strix G16 includes a professional esports-quality keyboard and Aura Sync accents. The 2024 Strix G16 gets ROG Intelligent Cooling Ecosystem for optimised performance.

Asus TUF Gaming A15 specs, features

The refreshed Asus TUF Gaming A15 is designed for both gaming enthusiasts and casual gamers. It comes equipped with up to the latest AMD Ryzen R9 8495H processor with Radeon Graphics (8 cores/16 threads) and with up to Nvidia RTX 4070 graphics at 140W max TGP. There is a 15.6-inch G-Sync-enabled panel to keep up with a FHD 144Hz display. It also features a MUX Switch with Nvidia Advanced Optimus support to reduce latency and boost performance by 5-10% on average, Asus said.

The machine is armed to handle a high-power CPU with a pair of 84-blade Arc Flow Fans for up to 13% more airflow. With quick charging technology, the laptop is claimed to charge up to 50% charge in 30 minutes. It has an upgraded design that reduces turbulence and improves cooling performance without the extra noise, Asus said.
