Xbox CEO Asha Sharma warns: Memory crisis could push Project Helix pricing and hit availability

The hardware gaming sector faces an unstable market situation owing to the lack of memory parts on a worldwide level, due to the increasing demand for the same. Pricing for all such technologies, which include consoles, is being impacted. Project Helix, the next-generation gaming system designed by Xbox, is getting pulled into the larger picture as well.

According to Asha Sharma, Xbox CEO, in an interview with Game File Xbox, the cost of memory parts may affect the prices and production of this console. All of this takes place in view of Microsoft's next-gen hardware plans. As mentioned earlier, Project Helix was introduced for the very first time at GDC 2026 and acts as a hybrid gaming console that can play both Xbox and PC games.
