Google Cloud introduces Gemini Enterprise, an AI platform for businesses
Google Cloud has launched Gemini Enterprise, a new platform designed to bring artificial intelligence into everyday business workflows. The platform is powered by Google’s advanced Gemini AI models and connects directly with business tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Salesforce, and SAP. This means it can draw on company data securely and provide context-based answers, recommendations, and automation.
Google says Gemini Enterprise will act as a “front door” for AI in the workplace, helping employees automate tasks, analyze data, and access insights through a single interface.
Through a chat-based interface, Gemini Enterprise allows employees to ask questions, run analysis, or trigger automated processes without coding skills. Google has also added a no-code workbench, where business teams can build their own AI-driven agents for tasks such as research, data insights, or customer support.
The platform includes a library of pre-built Google agents that companies can use immediately. It also supports custom agents created in-house or through partners. A governance framework lets businesses manage and monitor all these AI agents centrally.
Early adoption and new tools
Google said major global companies — including Figma, GAP, Klarna, Mercedes-Benz, and Virgin Voyages — are already using Gemini Enterprise in areas such as customer engagement, legal services, data analysis, and marketing campaigns.
The platform will also integrate with Google Workspace apps. For instance, Google Meet will now feature real-time speech translation, while Google Vids can convert presentations into AI-generated videos with voiceovers.
Focus on openness
Google emphasized that Gemini Enterprise is built on an open ecosystem, with over 100,000 partners supporting extensions and integrations. The company is also launching new training programs under “Google Skills” to help developers and employees adopt AI tools more effectively.
With Gemini Enterprise, Google Cloud is positioning itself as a full-stack AI provider — combining infrastructure, models, and applications — as businesses accelerate their shift to AI-powered operations.
