WWE Women’s World Champion, Liv Morgan, has participated in every Women’s Royal Rumble match till date. That makes for six appearances ever since the first match took place back in 2018. Unfortunately, Liv is the reigning champion and the top star in the women’s division, which means that she will not get to be a part of the Women’s Royal Rumble match in 2025.
Liv herself acknowledged her streak’s end during a conversation on the Pat McAfee show. Morgan expressed how she’s going to miss this one in particular. Let’s take a look at what else she had to say:
“If they choose me. I don’t think they would [choose me] because it’s not very smart to choose me. Have you been watching, Pat? Raquel, Judgment Day, Daddy Dom… I don’t know who’s going to want to take their chance against me.”
Morgan’s words display exactly the kind of confidence one would expect from someone who just took down a superstar like Rhea Ripley. For those of you who don’t know, Liv ambushed Ripley in the NXT parking lot, leading to an injury near the end of October. Time and time again, Liv has proved her worth as a heel and continues to irk the fan base with her malicious tactics.
It’ll be interesting to see how long Morgan will be able to get away with her shenanigans. Even though Liv acknowledged the end of her streak, it is not guaranteed that she will be champ come Royal Rumble 2025. Currently, Morgan is set to defend her title against IYO SKY. The Damage CTRL member became the #1 contender after winning the Women’s Battle Royal.

However, as always, it is highly likely that Liv has some plan in mind to ensure she retains against IYO. Though, it’ll be interesting to see whether Liv is able to hold onto her title until WrestleMania 41 and if she does, who will she defend it against?
