The untimely demise of Eddie Guerrero has left WWE fans and his colleagues in a tragic spot. The superstar passed away on November 13, 2005, age the age of 38 years. Recently, several WWE superstars and Hall of Famers gave their heartfelt tribute to the legendary superstar including William Regal.

William Regal gave a heartfelt tribute to Eddie Guerrero


William Regal who had a stunning career in WWE has recently given a tribute to WWE icon Eddie Guerrero on his birthday. Guerrero who passed away in 2005 has created a huge void in WWE as he had built his legacy with an astounding fanbase with his charisma and in-ring skills. Regel recently took to X (formerly Twitter) to share his message for the WWE Hall of Famer.

“Without a doubt in my mind Eddie was the best all round Pro Wrestler ever. An exceptional in ring command and ability to wrestle anyone in the world without ever meeting them until the bell went, entertaining skills and presence and exceptional ( once he figured it out) talking ability. And a very close friend. The greatest,” Regal wrote.

Regal’s post came as a reaction to what WWE’s official handle shared on X celebrating the memory of the superstar, “Remembering WWE Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero on his birthday. VIVA LA RAZA!”

Guerrero is widely regarded as one of the best professional wrestlers of all time. His in-ring skills, character work, and ability to connect with fans made him unforgettable. Sadly, Guerrero passed away at just 38, but his legacy lives on through his incredible matches and contributions to the sport.

Eddie Guerrero started wrestling in 1986, gaining fame in WCW as a top cruiserweight. Despite his in-ring talent, he never reached main-event status in WCW and left the company in 2000. After joining WWE, he found success but faced personal struggles. Tragically, Guerrero passed away in 2005 from acute heart failure, leaving a lasting legacy in the wrestling world. Guerrero has been gone for almost two decades but his legacy lived on as several superstars look up to him as inspiration to step into the squared circle.
