Finn Balor Expresses his State Of Mind After The SummerSlam Betrayal

In a surprising turn at SummerSlam, Finn Balor betrayed Damian Pr... Read More
In a shocking incident, Finn Balor betrayed his Judgment Day friend Damian Priest, at SummerSlam, costing him the World Heavyweight Championship. Following that, the enraged Priest called him out to fight on RAW. Balor instead arranged a one on one match between JD McDonagh and Priest. The same night, Balor had also revealed the new ‘Judgment Day’, which included him, Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh, Carlito and Liv Morgan. Hence eliminating the duo of Priest and Rhea Ripley(who was also betrayed at Summerslam, by Dominik).

Now, Finn Balor has sent a message to his former Judgment Day Colleague Damian Priest. On Twitter, he posted a picture, where on one side it's the match between Balor and Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam 2023. On the other half, Balor is seen beating Priest up, on RAW, this Monday. The caption that Finn wrote for it was - ‘Patience’. Looking at it, the netizens are assuming this to be a message delivered to the Archer of Infamy, Damian Priest. Notably, last year’s SummerSlam match which Finn also mentioned at RAW, saw Priest interfering in, with his Money in the bank contract, which may have infuriated Balor at that point of time. So, it is clear that Finn has been seeking revenge from Priest since that moment on.

Priest, who had captured the World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania XL,by cashing in his Money in the Bank contract, on Drew Mcintyre, would be itching to get his hands on Balor. who he trusted like a Brother in the ‘Judgment Day’. On the other hand, the Dynamics of the Judgment Day have turned around completely on its head. The face of the heel faction has changed drastically, with two massive betrayals taking place at SummerSlam, in Cleveland. Now what the future holds for the group, will be intriguing to see.

Moreover, Rhea Ripley would definitely want another go at the Women's World Championship, currently held by Liv Morgan. Notably, it was ‘Dirty Dom’ who helped Morgan defend her World Championship at SummerSlam, by sneaking in a chair for Morgan to hit the ‘Oblivion’ on Ripley, on that chair. The Twitter image posted by Finn clearly depicts that the plan was in place since last year’s SummerSlam. The interesting question is, whether Dominik, JD McDonagh and Liv Morgan knew about this plan beforehand.
At Bash at Berlin, at least two matches are expected to be played out between all the superstars involved in the Judgment Day chaos, and the fans can't keep their calm, trying to predict the future.
