Cody Rhodes, is currently one of the reigning names on the roster and he has no plans of stopping. Talking about his long-time desire and something from his bucket-list, the American Nightmare has shared that bringing back the iconic Eagle-winged belt is definitely on the charts.
Cody had previously revealed his goal during the promotions of SummerSlam during August this year. In a list which appeared on GQ Sports, which listed “10 Things WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes Can't Live Without”, one of the markers was his dream of bringing the iconic Winged Eagle Belt back home.

When asked during a recent interview by Josh Martinez on Superstar Crossover, if Cody was still thinking about his mission to bring the iconic belt back home again, he said, “I'm so glad you asked! Please know, anyone who ever heard me say the words ‘Winged Eagle Title’, I actively am still on the hunt. I am still on the mission, and if anything, I have shown in the past, even if it's for a single night or fleeting, I try to be a man of my word. So, I'm working on it.”
The iconic Winged Eagle Belt was the epitome of craftsmanship of the legendary belt-maker Reggie Parks. The belt made its debut on February 5, 1988 and was won by the WWE “legend Hulk Hogan. Since then, it has been defended and claimed by many successful WWE names, like Ric Flair, Bret Hart, and the Ultimate Warrior.
The American Nightmare is currently set to make his mark on WWE Bad Blood which starts from October 5, 2024. The duo of Roman Reigns and Cody will be fighting against Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa and fans worldwide are eager to witness this much-awaited Tag Team match.
