Fast Food chain, Domino's Pizza recently weighed in on their support for a
WWE star. Their star of choice was Joe Hendry who is incidentally not signed with the Stamford-based company. However, WWE has often supported budding wrestlers and thus while he is signed to TNA Wrestling, he has appeared in NXT. Due to the latest partnership with TNA, we are now witnessing great performances from cross border stars.
One of them is Joe Hendry who has proved his mettle in the past few months.
Recently, Domino's Pizza took to their X handle to share a picture of their latest signboard. It read, "Believe in pizza like we believe in Joe Hendry." It wasn't long until the signboard went viral, catching the attention of Hendry himself. He then shared the post on his X handle, acknowledging the appreciation. He wrote, "Domino's Believes', adding two clapping emojis.
This is not the first time that a popular food chain has expressed their adoration for their favorite wrestler. Back in 2019, KFC had
Dolph Ziggler star in one of their commercials. In the ad, Ziggler played the role of their founder Colonel Sanders and beat up a chicken who was played by
The Miz. Additionally, KFC had done a SummerSlam match previously where they picked their next Colonel. The title was won by Shawn Michaels.
Joe Henry is having a great run at WWE, garners praises from Booker THis newfound success has got WWE Icons talking about him. In a recent interview, Booker T shared his opinions on him and shared, "I'm thinking about what's next for Joe Hendry. Joe Hendry has a hell of a future in this business, but parlaying his success in this business to what he's going to do next. That would be the best advice I could give him, because the sand in the hour glass goes quick. I'm talking about here today and gone tomorrow."
On the work front, Joe Hendry is all set to compete in a Triple Threat Match where he will be competing with Wes Lee and Pete Dunne. There has been a lot of speculation around this match as there is a big chance of him winning it. Additionally, Hendry is the longest-reigning TNA Digital Media Champion. In his early years, he would make frequent appearances at the Insane Championship Wrestling (ICW), where he won the title of an ICW Tag Team Champion.
