This victory marked a significant milestone for the 37-year-old Hsieh, as it became her fifth Grand Slam doubles title. Additionally, it was her second triumph in Paris, the first being in 2014 when she partnered with another Chinese player, Peng Shuai.

Impressively, Hsieh and Wang displayed exceptional synergy on the court, despite having played together in only their second tournament. Their previous collaboration took place at Strasbourg just last month, making their triumph at the French Open even more commendable.
