PARIS: Yuki Bhambri and Saketh Myneni bowed out of the French Open men's doubles, falling to ninth seeds Mexico's Santiago Gonzalez and Frenchman Edouard Roger-Vasselin in the second round.

The all-Indian combine, playing their second Grand Slam as a pair, went down 4-6, 5-7.

After going down a set and an early break in the second, Bhambri and Myneni broke Roger-Vasselin in the 10th game when the ninth seeds were serving for the match. The French and Mexican team returned the favour, breaking Bhambri in the next game before Gonzalez wrapped up the match.
