The French Open organisers on Friday announced an increase in the prize money for this year's claycourt Grand Slam. The prize amount will total 49.6 million euros ($54.6 million), up 12.3% on 2022, the organisers said. In a statement released by the Roland Garros organisers, it said that the prize pot has been "significantly increased" to ensure a more even distribution between players. The amount for the Roland Garros singles draws will be increased by 9.1% on 2022, the statement read.
