Sidney Crosby is currently being hailed as a hero as he led Team Canada to win the 4 Nations Face Off’s final match against Team USA. But unfortunately, his NHL team, the Pittsburgh Penguins recently lost to the Washington Capitals are not in a good shape. P.K. Subban, the former NHL player, recently spoke about how the Penguins need a better team and Sidney Crosby “deserves better” but fans have a completely different opinion on it.
Was Sidney Crosby Aware That The Pittsburgh Penguins’ Team Is Not In A Good State? Fans Feel So
P.K. Subban said, "Crosby deserves way more than this. At the level he’s playing at, where he’s at right now in his game, his career ... this is not enough for Sidney Crosby. He needs a better team around him.” He also accused Kyle Dubas of being unable to form a better team.
But fans have a completely different opinion as far as Sidney Crosby is concerned. Many fans believe that Sidney Crosby already knew about the state of his team, the Pittsburgh Penguins before he signed an extension.
A fan wrote, “I’m pretty sure Sidney Crosby was aware of the situation when he signed his extension. He wants to retire a Penguin and be here when they complete the rebuild”, while another fan wrote, “Crosby chose to stay in Pittsburgh. He could ask for a trade but he doesn’t. He knew that this team would struggle to make the playoffs.”
A third fan wrote, “Sid knows wats up...quit trying to be Ryan Clark…”
Another user echoed the same emotion and wrote, “People need to stop with this...if Sid wanted to out he would have asked for a trade not sign a 3 year ext. Plus people saying Dubas is a bad GM aren't looking at the whole picture. We have 2 elite minor league teams and not to mention 14 picks in RDS 1-3 in the next 3 drafts”.
Sidney Crosby has not issued a statement yet about the Pittsburgh Penguins sensitive position in the game now. Fans are shocked by the performance of the Penguins but are still proud of Sidney Crosby’s win at the 4 Nations Face Off.
