NEW DELHI: Ahead of a crucial matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, the Indianapolis Colts received mixed injury news. The Colts, currently holding an 8-7 record, faced adversity last week with both Pittman and Moss sidelined in a disappointing 29-10 defeat against the Atlanta Falcons. Pittman, who had previously cleared concussion protocol but suffered a relapse, is now deemed ready to contribute to the team's offensive efforts.

Pittman, 26, has been a standout performer for the Colts this season, leading the team with 99 receptions and 1,062 receiving yards. The talented wideout has also secured four touchdown catches in 14 games, showcasing his importance to the team's passing game.

On the other hand, Moss, 26, will be absent from the upcoming clash against the Raiders due to a forearm injury. The running back has been a key figure in the Colts' ground attack, leading the team with 764 rushing yards and sharing the top spot with five rushing touchdowns. Additionally, Moss has been a versatile threat, contributing 27 catches for 192 yards and two scores in 13 games (eight starts).

Despite Moss's absence, the Colts can turn to the return of Jonathan Taylor to fortify their backfield. In last week's contest against the Falcons, Taylor rushed for 43 yards and notched a touchdown.

The dynamic running back has accumulated 457 rushing yards and five touchdowns in eight games (five starts) this season, further bolstered by 16 receptions for 137 yards and a touchdown in 2023. The Colts will look to Taylor to play a pivotal role in their offensive strategy as they aim for a crucial victory against the Raiders.
