“I’m always jealous,” JJ Watt said on the ManningCast. “They played high school, they played college, and they played NFL together.” The star further added, “I would have loved to, man, but the thing I always talk about is T.J. was in the middle of a contract negotiation there and I wasn’t going to take away any money from his big negotiation that he was going through,” Watt said Monday night on ESPN’s Peyton & Eli. “I very much would have loved it. I would have only come out of retirement for two situations, the Steelers or the Texans, the last couple years. Didn’t end up working out in any capacity.”
