But you can’t bet on your own sport & team as a CFB player. That sets a very dangerous precedent. No other way to say it. I’m not saying he can’t have an NFL career, but there has to be some meaningful punishment here.”

Jeremiah posted the message on X in response to reports about Sorsby's reinstatement. His comments explain the headline. He was not shocked by the idea of a second chance. Instead, he appeared stunned that a player who admitted to betting on his own team could regain eligibility so quickly.
