NEW DELHI: Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marquise Brown will be sidelined for the remainder of the season due to a heel injury. Head coach Jonathan Gannon confirmed the decision on Friday, announcing that Brown will be placed on injured reserve.
Brown's absence marks the conclusion of a season where he made 14 starts, contributing 51 receptions for 574 yards and scoring four touchdowns for the struggling Cardinals, who currently stand at 3-12.
The 26-year-old receiver, a 2019 first-round pick, showcased his talent and versatility over his 72-game career, amassing 313 catches for 3,644 yards and reaching the end zone 28 times.
