Super Bowl LX is just a few hours away as the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks gear up to face each other at Levi’s Stadium.
While fans are expecting an epic match, many are also waiting for the popular Grammy winner, Bad Bunny, to take the stage during his halftime performance, days after President Donald Trump made controversial comments against him.
President Donald Trump makes his feelings known about where the NFL is heading with Bad Bunny’s performance
A few days ago, in an interview with The New York Post, President Donald Trump opened up about his opinion of having Bad Bunny and Green Day perform for Super Bowl LX halftime and pregame, respectively.
Shockingly, President Donald Trump said, “I’m anti-them. I think it’s a terrible choice.”
He added, “All it does is sow hatred. Terrible.”
As the interviewer asked if he would be attending the game like last year, President Donald Trump denied saying, “It’s just too far away. I would. I’ve (gotten) great hands (at) the Super Bowl. They like me.”
President Donald Trump’s strong opinions against Grammy winner Bad Bunny and Green Day have divided the country and the fan base.
However, the 31 year old Puerto Rican has kept himself away from all the drama.
Bad Bunny ignores President Donald Trump’s comments and keeps the focus on his performance
It seems, despite being surrounded by a lot of strong opinions over his Super Bowl LX halftime performance, Bad Bunny seems more focused on how his fans will enjoy his performance.
A few days ago, at a press conference, Bad Bunny said, “It’s going to be a huge party. What people can expect from me…I want to bring to the stage, of course, a lot of my culture.”
The “Debí Tirar Más Fotos” artist added, "I know that the world is gonna be happy this Sunday, and they're gonna have fun, and they're gonna dance and they're gonna have a good time,"
Bad Bunny will not be paid anything for his performance at the Super Bowl LX halftime show, as per the league’s policies, but as per reports, the game’s viewership can break all existing records.
It certainly seems a pretty important year for Bad Bunny’s future as he gears up to take the stage at Super Bowl LX, just a week after winning the Grammy for his popular album.
