After a successful season that ended with the Philadelphia Eagles winning the 2025 Super Bowl, the team is taking some downtime while enjoying the moment. The Eagles are busy celebrating their successful season, and one of the stops before their parade in the city was at the Wells Fargo Center for the 76ers vs Raptors game.

Philadelphia Eagles attend an NBA game in their hometown

The Philadelphia Eagles are having the time of their lives after winning the Super Bowl against the Kansas City Chiefs. It is their second Super Bowl win after the LII, and they demolished the Chiefs on the field 40-22 to take the victory home. While they prepare for the citywide parade, a couple members of the team decided to stop by a basketball game during the week to cheer for their hometown team in the NBA.

The Philadelphia 76ers were hosting the Toronto Raptors, and the game saw some familiar faces in the audience. Cornerback Cooper DeJean and linebacker Zack Baun were both in attendance to watch the game alongside C. J. Gardner-Johnson. While the Raptors won the game against the home team 106-103, it was a good day all around (maybe not so much for the 76ers).

The Philadelphia 76ers record a season-worst drop

With a win-to-loss ratio of 20-33, the Philadelphia 76ers are facing an all-time low this season. In a game against the Toronto Raptors, who themselves were on a four-game losing streak, the 76ers marked a 106-103 loss. Joel Embiid was their highest scorer with 27, followed by Jared Butler with 15 points off the bench.

Though the game was tight, the Raptors scored with Scottie Barnes adding 33 points and Immanuel Quickley with 23 points on the scoreboard. This led to the Raptors taking the win before they returned home. The 76ers will have to face the Brooklyn Nets before the teams break for the NBA All-Star Weekend.
