The athlete was asked what life has been like since he got to play with the NBA legend LeBron James. Luka’s response was quite heartwarming. The Slovenian athlete stated, “Honestly, just being part of his journey, you know, it has been amazing.” He further revealed the real motivation behind Luka entering the league. “I came into the league, like, watching him play.”


It was a surreal moment for Luka when he first played against LeBron. He added, “My first game against him was like a dream come true. So just being his teammate, it’s insane.” Vince Carter continued the conversation by posing another question to him. When Luka got traded to the Los Angeles Lakers, many believed that both Luka and LeBron’s individual basketball IQ would create conflicts. However, the coordination between them looks effortless. Carter asked Luka how the players pulled that off. Luka instantly replied, “I think it's mostly understanding. Obviously, we talk a little bit. But I just feel like when he was injured in the beginning, after he came back, in the first couple of games, it wasn’t that good.” He continued, “But now, since we played a long time together, it’s getting better and better.”
