Tyrese Haliburton gives major injury update on “Mind The Game” podcast

Tyrese Haliburton suffered one of the biggest injuries of his career during the last season. The athlete tore his Achilles tendon during game 7 of the 2025 NBA finals. While he will miss the entire 2025-2026 season with the Indiana Pacers, Tyrese revealed his state of recovery during his appearance on the “Mind The Game” podcast. He stated, “There have been good days, bad days. There has been days where I sit there and I just keep asking, ‘Why is this happening to me?’ It’s hard for me to understand in this moment. But I understand it’s allowing me to grow in different ways.” He further added, “I’m approaching week 31 here, so almost going on eight months. I feel really good. My body feels really good. Just started playing 3-on-3, 4-on-4, full court... I gotta give myself some grace, understand it’s going to take some time, but the biggest thing is I really am glad for where I am. I’m thankful for it.”

The athlete is indeed recovering. But this is going to take time and fans can only expect to see him securing dunks in the next season.
