CHENNAI: A 24-strong Indian squad, including multiple-time world champion
Pankaj Advani, will participate in the ACBS 18th Asian Under-21 Snooker, 16th Asian Billiards and 1st Ladies Asian Snooker Championships to be held in Chandigarh from April 8 to 15.
In a press release, the Billiards and Snooker Federation of India (BSFI) announced the teams for the three events.
The men's squad for the Asian Billiards meet includes Advani, Rupesh Shah, Sourav Kothari, Brijesh Damani, Dhruv Sitwala, Dhvaj Haria (all PSPB), Siddharth Parikh (Railways) and B Bhaskar (Karnataka).
Women's team for Asian Billiards:
Amee Kamani
(MP), Arantxa Sanchis (Mah), Varshaa Sanjeev, Vidya Pillai, M Chitra (all Kar), Keerath Bhandaal (Del), Meenal Thakur (Mah) and
Suniti Damani
(WB).
Under-21 squad: Asutosh Padhy (Ori), Md Hussain Khan (MP), Hrithik Jain (MP), Sparsh Pherwani (Mah), Sunny (Pun),
Digvijay Kadian
(Har), Ishpreet Chadha and Shrikrishna S (TN).
