Abhinav Bindra's rifle at Olympic Museum in Switzerland

NEW DELHI: Olympic gold medalist shooter Abhinav Bindra is the only Indian sportsman whose gold winning gun has been chosen to be displayed at the Olympic Museum at Lausanne in Switzerland.
It is for the first time that the international sports body has sought a donation from an Indian sportsman.
The Olympic medalist had to part with his Walther Air rifle which brought him victory at the Beijing Olympic Games 2008 for placing it in the Olympic Museum in Switzerland.
Abhinav recently tweeted, "My rifle at the Olympic museum at Lausanne."
Abhinav is in Germany at the moment busy preparing for the World Championship and Asian Games.
Abhinav's father Dr A S Bindra said "It's an honour and we feel proud of Abhinav."
