Mariya Jaison of Kerala set the stadium on fire with a scintillating vault which etched her name in the record books of the Hyderabad 10K 13th Federation Cup National Junior Athletics Championship at the GMC Balayogi Athletics Stadium in Gachibowli.

HYDERABAD: Mariya Jaison of Kerala set the stadium on fire with a scintillating vault which etched her name in the record books of the Hyderabad 10K 13th Federation Cup National Junior Athletics Championship at the GMC Balayogi Athletics Stadium in Gachibowli.
Mariya led a Kerala sweep in the pole vault. Mariya vaulted to 3.50 metres to set a new record.

She was followed by Shani Shaji who cleared 3.10 metres and Anaswara C who recorded 3.00 metres.
Kerala women also set a new meet record in the 4x100 metres relay by winning it in 48.00 seconds. Anikta Sunil of Maharashtra won the 100 metre hurdles with a timing of 14.79 seconds. Dibi Sebastian of Kerala took the silver.
