Speaking to Elle in a recent interview, the influencer revealed that she and Fritz ended their six-year relationship about two months ago and are now moving forward separately. While she did not share the exact reason behind the split, she said the two remain on good terms. During the interview, Morgan Riddle also shared details about what she wants in her next relationship. She said she created a list of 33 non-negotiables for a future partner. Among those requirements, one stood out the most. Riddle said she does not want to date another professional athlete.

The comments caught attention because Riddle and Taylor Fritz were one of the most recognized couples in tennis. Over the years, fans regularly saw her supporting him at tournaments around the world while also building a strong social media presence of her own.

Morgan Riddle told Elle that her future partner must match her values and life goals. Explaining her relationship checklist, she said:

“I made, like, a 33-point non-negotiables list for [my next relationship]. It has basic things like political alignment, shared life goals, intellectual intimacy, no sports betting or gambling, only makes my life happier.”

She then added:

“I’ll never date an athlete again.”

Riddle and Fritz first met on the dating app Raya after she moved to Los Angeles during the COVID-19 pandemic. As Taylor Fritz’s profile continued to grow in tennis, Morgan Riddle also gained a large following through her appearances at events and her content around life on tour.

Looking back, Riddle said building her own career was important. She explained that creating her own brand and income gave her independence. She told Elle:

“Say, hypothetically, I fully supported him and his career and didn’t make my own money and didn’t develop my own brand, what would I be doing now?”

She continued:

“Would I be back in Minnesota? If you don’t have that autonomy and you don’t make your own money and you want to leave [a relationship] … I just hope any WAG or woman can make that choice.”

Since the breakup, Riddle has moved to New York and said she is enjoying this new stage of her life. Meanwhile, Taylor Fritz has not publicly spoken about the end of the relationship. However, he recently shared photos on Instagram that suggested he is settling into life after the split.
