on December 20 has been challenged by the franchise. They also claimed that there was an assault on Salgaocar following the final whistle, even though the footage doesn't show it.

"For the last four-and-a-half months, FC Goa has asserted that an assault took place on co-owner Dattaraj Salgaocar following the final whistle at the ISL final. This has been established both medically and by a police investigation. The ISL regulatory commission is set to meet on Tuesday and FC Goa claimed that the timing of the footage is "suspect" and that it's "one-sided and edited". "The footage shows a rather one-sided and edited version of what really happened. However, it should be noted that the episode is its entirety is 15 minutes long, is not captured in the footage provided to you or FC Goa," the statement said.
