How to Get White Kyurem in Pokemon GO

To acquire White Kyurem, you'll need to fuse a standard Kyurem with Reshiram. This fusion process requires 1,000 Blaze Fusion Energy, along with 30 Kyurem Candies and 30 Reshiram Candies. Blaze Fusion Energy can be obtained by defeating White Kyurem in five-star raids, which will reward you with the necessary energy and an opportunity to catch a standard Kyurem. Reshiram Candies can be collected by participating in Reshiram raids or by using Rare Candies.


Note that if you're hoping to trade White Kyurem, you're out of luck—it cannot be traded or transferred in any way, including to Pokémon HOME. You’ll need to collect Fusion Energy and candies to fuse it yourself.

How to Get Blaze Fusion Energy

Blaze Fusion Energy can be collected through various methods:

• Defeat White Kyurem in Five-Star Raids – This is the primary way to earn Blaze Fusion Energy. Winning these battles will grant you the necessary energy and a chance to catch a standard Kyurem.
• Complete Event Research Tasks – Special GO Tour: Unova-themed research tasks may provide Blaze Fusion Energy.
• Participating in Reshiram Raids – Defeating Reshiram in specific raid events may also reward Blaze Fusion Energy.

White Kyurem is a challenging raid boss with a Combat Power of 56,009. It is weak to Steel, Dragon, Fighting, Fairy, and Rock-type moves. Effective counters include:

• Mega Rayquaza with Dragon Tail
• Breaking Swipe, Mega Lucario with Force Palm and Aura Sphere
• Dusk Mane Necrozma with Metal Claw and Sunsteel Strike

Can You Get Shiny White Kyurem in Pokémon GO?

Yes! Shiny White Kyurem will be available in Pokémon GO following its release during the Unova event. To obtain it, you must first catch a Shiny Kyurem and then fuse it with Reshiram.

• Shiny Kyurem can be found in raids, with an estimated shiny rate of 1 in 20 (5%).
• Once you have a Shiny Kyurem, you can use Blaze Fusion Energy to create Shiny White Kyurem.
